Under the Umbrella of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI), the business community of Multan is doing remarkable work towards the welfare of the people in the fields of Education, Health and nutrition. President of MCCI Sheikh Fazal Elahi said while addressing a Welfare Affairs committee chaired by its convener Khawaja Salahuddin,that Almighty had selected us for the benefit and services of the needy people and Allah would give us reward of our services.He said that some member would provide financial assistance and some of them would devote their time. Khawaja Salahuddin stated that this project would be implemented practically in December and All shining & deserving students would be financed to attain higher education.It is our observance that some students of poor families cannot get higher education due to financial constraints. Chamber would provide them opportunities to achieve their objectives.He further said that relatives and attendants of patients would be served with food in Nishtar Hospital Multan.He suggested that any ward of Nishtar hospital would be run under the supervision of Multan Chamber.Before concluding the meeting,committees were formed to serve in these three sectors.The meeting was attended by Nadeem Ahmed Sheikh, Vice President of MCCI,Majidullah Khan, Sheikh Aasim Saeed, Khawaja Muhammad Usman, Aurangzeb Alamgir.Ijaz Ahmed ,Abdul Rehman Qureshi and Acting Secretary General Muhammad Shafiq.
