Multan :Lahore High Court Multan Bench Judge Justice Ahmed Nadeem Arshad has served contempt of court notices on President of Habib Metrolpolitan Bank Khurram Shahzad Khan ,HR Head Asad Ali,other officers Asad Saud, Arzo Mahmood Alam, and Area Head Muhammad Yousuf Khan for not complying with the court's clear cut orders. The court took serious view of their absence in the proceedings and The court ordered to summon them in the court in the first week of January 2024. Mian Ajmal Latif, the lawyer of the petitioner Shahid Baloch, informed the court that the judge of the High Multan Bench, Justice Raheel Kamran, had ordered on December 2, 2022 that the petitioner should be immediately reinstated to his former seat. and No action shall be taken against him till the final decision of the Single Bench of National Industrial Relations Commission.The Court observed that as per Articles 9 and 10 of the 1973 Constitution no person could not be forced to resign. But the bank management refused to reinstate him, disregarding the court orders, on which a contempt of court application was filed against them. In the preliminary hearing, the branch manager Shahzad Chaghtai informed the court that he has no powers of hire and fire He is a simpl employee like the petitioneer . He has no powers to dismiss or reinstate, so the other five persons should be made a party instead. On which the learned court allowed to amend the contempt petition and served them contempt of court notices on 22nd November 2023. The petitioner submitted that bank management called him Lahore for hearing but it got a resignation forcibly to save the skin of their "Favourites"
