Labour staged a rally for their demands on Monday

All Pakistan Labour Union Organisation (APLUO)organised a rally on Monday at Chungi No.9 Multan to press the authorities for acceptance of their demands.The rally led by APLUO chairman Megr Mukhtar Sargana and Pakistan Saraiki Party(PSP)'s Deputy Secretary General Malik Javed Hussain Channer Advocate and Saraiki Nationalist Sharif Khan Lashari.They demanded free education, health facilities and insurance of working labourers in industrial, agricultural and other sectors. In case of any accident,their families must be provided with handsome amount so that they could survive.They further said that all drivers by profession must be registered and they should be allowed to form an Union  and Their basic pay should not be less than Rs.40,000/-and duty hours must be confined to eight hours.Double wages be paid  during National ,ceremonial  holidays.
