Sikhism teaches us to serve the humanity irrespective of creed or colour-Salim Leghari

Canada, Winnipeg :- Chairman of Khidmat-i-Insaniya Party (KIP) Pakistan Muhammad Salim Leghari has said  that Sikhism is a religion which is founded on the principles of global Interfaith communities and mutual inter-community respect and harmony. Delivering his speech at Baisakhi (annual festival) ceremony organised by the Sikh community in Winnipeg downtown .He said that  the founders of Sikhism have since 1469 defined and preached the principles of interfaith respect, dialogue and harmony

A Sikh by definition must respect and accept all other world religions. Further, the Sikh must protect, guard and allow the free practice of the customs and rituals of other religions.

Sikhism is a special mission to perform  selfless service (Seva) to humanity with no distinction of nationality, caste or creed. He further said that the essence of the teachings of all religions and ideologies is peace and humanity. - He said that love is like a chemical that has the ability to connect even stones.
