Ramiz Raja appreciate the passion of Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi in games

The Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ramiz Raja said that observing the passion of cricket fans of Multan and  South Punjab,we have come to an agreement with district administration on the terms of a lease for the Multan Cricket Stadium that will last for ten years.From this, in the coming ten years, we will see cricket test matches, ODI series, T20 and PSL in Multan . These views were expressed by the eminent cricket star and Chairman Cricket Control Board Ramiz Raja in a meeting with the well-known industrialist Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi at Multan Stadium during the second cricket test match between Pakistan and England. Appreciating the beauty of Multan Stadium, he said that the stadium here is an example of itself. And the people of Multan are also fond of cricket. This is the reason for all the matches that have been played here since the past till today. Now Multan is famous all over the World for its hospitality, politeness and calmness. 

Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi said that in the past, Multan was the hub of sports. And now again, it is emerging as a centre of matches due to the continuous cricket matches, Multan is drawing attention all over the world. And especially at the beginning of next year when the PSL starts. If it happens, we will decorate Multan  like a bride. Through PSL, if we involve Qatari-style business partners in the whirlwind of PSL, it can become a source of huge foreign exchange for Pakistan. The big business enterprises of South Punjab are ready to cooperate on this occasion. Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi told Chairman PCB Ramiz Raja that our family is not only coaching cricket for the youth in South Punjab for many years.

Chairman South Cricket Association Khawaja Muhammad Anees and CEO South Punjab Cricket Association Abdul Saboor were also present on this occasion. Jehanu assured Ramiz Raja that soon they will bring out such talent for the cricket team from South Punjab, who will make the name of the country and the nation bright.

For this, Chairman PCB Ramiz Raja thanked Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi and said that before the beginning of PSL, our representatives will contact all business organizations and decorate the city for  the opening ceremony of PSL in  Multani colors. With the support of Punjab's young cricketers, we will make PSL more beautiful. John Carr, the head of the England Cricket Board was also present on this occasion. Appreciating the hospitality of the people of Multan, he said that I am very happy to come to Multan, the oldest city in the world.
