MULTAN, Nov 20th: Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI)'s Vice President Shafi Anis'A Sheikh said that Even though Multan is Pakistan's 7th largest city and has immense historical, cultural, and economic importance, the city was lagging in terms of hosting a housing project that offered a luxurious lifestyle. He was delivering his speech at an awareness even of DHA in Multan Chamber. He said that the Defence Housing Authority had chosen a good location that had decent commute options already in place, easy connectivity to major routes, and convenient access to other amenities. Briefing the participants with the help of Multi-Media, DHA's Adil Qayyum said that DHA Multan is spread over 9000 acres of land, is a much-needed, contemporary addition to the housing societies in the city of saints. This housing scheme is aimed at providing the same, high standard of living enjoyed by the residents of DHA Lahore, DHA Islamabad, DHA Karachi, and other DHA-backed projects across Pakistan. The society will introduce a property portfolio that will comfortably fit in the budget of low, moderate, and high-income buyers. The community has been planned innovatively, with particular attention given to safety concerns. The hallmark of Defence Housing Authority, Multan, is highly advanced development, security, and easy access to world-class facilities. He said that DHA had tasked to the developer to plan the society, along with overseeing the development of Education City, Health City, 3D Cinema, Mega Mall, Theme Park, Defence Club, Community Centre, and other amenities and facilities. The event was attended by a large number of people including Ms Rabia Shehzad, Aurangzeb Alamgir,Mian Aziz Ahmed Sheikh, Haseeb Ahmed Khan and Secretary General Muhammad Shafiq.
