MULTAN,July 25th: President of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) Mian Fazal Elahi Sheikh has said that portal of Prime Minister's Kamyab Jawan programme be activated immediately so that maximum number of youths and new entrepreneurs could avail this facility. In a Press statement, Fazal Elahi Sheikh said Prime Minister Kamyab Jawan Programme aims at uplifting the youth’s morale by offering them loan opportunities to maximize their entrepreneurial potential contribution to the country’s economic growth.He said that since the portal of this programme was deactivate,youths are facing manifold hardships in attaining their objective.MCCI President eulogised the Prime Minister for introducing jon-oriented programmes and introducing new entrepreneurs.Through this portal,he said, Loans could be availed for setting up small businesses or expansion of existing businesses. All eligible individuals could apply for a loan of Rs. 5,000,000/- by simply contacting the assigned online portal (announced by GOP) or seeking out for assistance from all volunteered banks such as the National Bank of Pakistan, The Bank of Khyber, and The Bank of Punjab. However, no other mechanism for submitting the application other than through a designated online portal designed by NITB is available.
