Railway is going to organise Mena bazar in February in Multan

MULTAN, Jan 6th: President of Multan Chamber of Comerce &  Industry (MCCI) Sheikh Fazal Elahi stressed the need for punctuality of trains on Multan- Lahore and Faisalabad sections so that business community could prefer this available facility.Talking to Divisional Superintendent Railway Multan Shoaib Adil,he said that dilapidated and uncomfortable bogies are attached with trains originate from Multan and Sandal Express for Sargodha and  and Mehr express for Rawalpindi were running at the speed of 30 km/hour in 21st century.while railway track at different sections particularly Shorkot-Jhang is in bad shape. Sheikh Fazal Elahi further said that Multan was not connected with Dera Ghazi Khan by train and traders are facing hardship in transportation of their goods on Kotadu-Dera Ghazi Khan- Kashmore section.D.S railway asked the MCCI President to help and cooperate with Railway in  organising a Mena Bazar in railway club as Multan Railway administration intend to organise this event in February in Multan.Multan Chamber should cooperate with railway in organising this Mena bazar and inviting different companies and entrepreneurs to set-up their stalls.he added.Upon this, Sheikh Fazal Elahi suggested that Railway administration should organise a committee of active and efficient officers/officials to contact the stake holders and finalising the recreational programmes i.e Magic show,Musical concert and other events of Public interest to attract the families.Khawaja Muhammad Fazil,Azhar Baloch, Aurangzeb Alamgir and acting secretary General Muhammad Shafiq were also present there.
