Though Lahore High Court Chief Justice Mamoon Rashid Sheikh advised the Judges not to dispose of cases without providing any relief to petitioner.He also advised the additional judges and civil judges posted in Lahore not to compromise on merit and decide each case after careful hearings.Contrary to the instructions of Chief Justice yet the judges of high court benches are used to disposing of dozens of cases daily with direction to the authority to resolve the grievance and hundreds of cases were disposed during 2019 to show better performance.More than 80 percent aggrieved persons have to file contempt of court petitions to get relief. Students of Bahauddin Zakariya University's Commerce department told that they had filed a writ petition in LHC Multan bench when BZU administration refused to reimburse their fee under Prime Minister's Fee Reimbursement scheme inspite of validation by the Higher Education Commission in 2015. This petition is still to be decided because counsel of the varisty employing delaying tactics. He filed three writ petitions of harassment which were disposed with direction to Police not to harass him.Now he had to file another petition in LHC Multan bench.Mr.Justic Rasal Hassan Syed called a report from the SHO P.S Tulamba(Khanewal) District.A broken heart petitioner said," Judiciary should display a big hoarding on the main gate of the court "Insaf Maang ke Sharminda Na Karen".Former Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr.Asif Saeed Khosa said that Lawyers and judges should care the horse (Plaintiff) of a two wheels (Bar & Bench) carriage.but no one is ready to listen to him.Hundreds of cases are gone "left-over",writ petitions are disposed of without summoning the other party.Lahore High Court Chief Justice Mamoon Rashid Sheikh should take notice of thousands of "Left-over" cases, Pendency of two decades,disposal of cases without providing any relief, harassment of the Young lawyers,even barristers.providing relief to the clients of office bearers only.
