Double blasts leave 11 soldiers ofLevies forcesinjured in Pishin, Panjgur

Twin blasts targeting security forces’ vehicles in Pishin and Panjgur districts of Balochistan injured 11 including security personnel on Sunday.
According to
Levies forces, unidentified miscreants planted an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) inside a motorcycle and parked it near Jan Adda area of Pishin district.
“Levies Tehseeldar Abdul Malik Tareen along with his guards sustained injuries while he was passing through the area including nine other passersby,” a security official told The Express Tribune.
A heavy contingent of law enforcement agencies rushed to the site and shifted the injured to District Headquarter Hospital for medical aid.
Four critically injured security personnel were shifted to Quetta for better medical treatment.
According to the bomb disposal team’s findings, approximately 5kg of explosive material was used in the motorbike blast.
Initial investigation report suggested that Levies Tehseeldar Abdul Malik Tareen was the prime target. No group has claimed responsibility of the attack thus far.
Meanwhile, two men including security personnel sustained injuries as a result of explosion targeting the security forces in Panjgur.
Levies officials said, unknown persons planted an explosive device inside a motorbike and parked it alongside the road.
“A security forces convoy was passing through the Cantonment area when remotely controlled IED exploded, leaving two men injured including a security personnel,” they added.

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan condemned the attacks. “Those involved in the heinous crime shall be dealt accordingly,” he said.
The chief minister also directed to improve security arrangements throughout the province.
Provincial home minister Mir Ziaullah Langove also condemned the blast, saying the enemies of the state are involved in creating unrest in the province.
Seeking a complete report of the incident, he maintained taht Pakistan’s war against terrorism will be carried to its logical conclusion.
