Two women among six killed in Charsadda family dispute

Two women were among six people killed and three other sustained injuries after an exchange of fire between two groups in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Charsadda district on Sunday.
The incident occurred over a family dispute in Rajar area.According to police, the Jillani Shah Bacha and Sabir Shah families were involved in the gunfight.
The deceased  were identified as Sabir Shah, Ahmed Shah, Anwar Shah and Aqeela, Qalander Shah and Gul Rukh.
Fawad and Jillani Shah Bacha were among the injured who were shifted to the district headquarter hospital Charsadda..Police have registered a report of the incident.
On May 29, at least four people were killed and one injured in cross-firing over a graveyard dispute in Charsadda. A police official confirmed the incident and relayed that relatives of Quami Watan Party (QWP) Nazim Raheem Ullah, who died in an accident, were stopped from digging his grave on a disputed property.
The scuffle resulted in an exchange of fire between the two parties who belonged to the same tribe which led to the death of four people.
On May 30, a teenage mother was killed in the name of ‘honour’ by her in-laws as she was unable to ‘give birth to a baby boy’ in Charsadda. Saadia, 17, had been married to Kamil Khan, 50, for a year.
