MULTAN, Nov 20th: At leas 4,00,000 individuals from across the Punjab will be trained in various employable demand-driven trades by the Punjab Skills Development Fund under Industrial Training Programme.The selected candidates can get free Industrial training with employment opportunities, free books and uniform, selected students will also get scholarship, the specific cash amount from PSDF government of Punjab, Pakistan.Its opportunity to all youth of Punjab to get training and after training good Job to any good company of Pakistan as well as international level companies. Zuhaib Haq of Assistant Manager (Technical) of PSDF said while addressing an awareness Seminar at MCCI which was chaired by Khawaja Muhammad Hussain.Zuhaib Haq said that more than 2,00,000 individuals have so far been trained in 200 different demand-based trades since the inception of programme with the collaboration of UKaid. He said that Industrialists and manufacturers should come forward to join hands with PSDF to prepare skilled force for their industry and provide jobs to atleast 50 percent people.Punjab skills development fund is funded by UKaid.Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) has launched a new scheme under the name of “Industrial Training Program 2017”. Under the scheme, individuals from across the Punjab except for Gujrat, Gujranwala & Sialkot will be trained in various employable demand-driven trades.The selected candidates can get free Industrial training with employment opportunities, free books and uniform, selected students will also get scholarship, the specific cash amount from PSDF government of Punjab, Pakistan.Its opportunity to all youth of Punjab to get training and after training good Job to any good company of Pakistan as well as international level companies.The scheme is a sequel of the Fund’s earlier scheme, Skills for Employability, which was launched in 2011. In the preceding round, more than 15,000 completed their trainings in numerous vocational trades.Punjab Skills development Fund (PSDF) is a section 42 company, established by the Government of the Punjab in partnership with the Department for International Development (DFID), UK. PSDF funds vocational training organisations to provide vocational and skills training to the poor and the vulnerable populations of the Punjab. Until now, PSDF has funded trainings of 110,935 men and women from its target districts of the Punjab under its various schemes for skills development. The Seminar was also addressed by Khawaja Muhammad Farooq Vice President of MCCI, Khawaja Nadeem Shehzad, Azhar Akhtar, Mrs.Sarwat Zahra, Hira Mansoor, Faiza Akram and Khurram Javed Secretary General of MCCI.They said that the interested candidates can call to PSDF Officials on their official number: 0800-48627. The candidates having Punjab Domicile with age more than 18 years old than you can apply for Industrial Training Program Scheme 2017, PSDF will be give Training in 36 industrial units of Punjab in different areas of Punjab.
