Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has asked major political parties including PPP, PML-N, PTI to share their economic policies with the business community.
FPCCI President Zubair Tufail on Saturday stated that the business community was deeply concerned about the country’s economic future and wants to get a feeling of the main political parties about their future plans and policies, which they intend to pursue after the general election of 2018.
He said the business community would also like to give its own input directly to these political parties for shaping up their comprehensive economic plan.
Mr Tufail stressed upon the need for reaching a consensus between political parties and the business community on a practical and long-term plan to stabilise and strengthen the economy.
He said the apex trade body had already held a series of meetings with the government, and now wants to interact with all political parties in order to pursue a positive objective which should be above any political affiliation.
