MULTAN, Nov 22nd:Seven men in Hasilpur abducted and gang-raped a transgender person on Tuesday, police said.The incident took place in the suburb of Hasilpur (in Bahawalpur district), where a transgender was hired for dancing in a wedding ceremony ,He was taken from Abdul Hakim town of Khanewal district against Rs.5000/-.Jam Muhammad Saleem SDPO Hasilpur said ," we have registered a case against seven personswho had allegedly sexually assaulted him and arrested two of them,"The victim Sapna Khan told Police that seven persons Abbas Lakhera,Ashiq Basera , Akram Bohar, Nazir alias Doli Dadpotra, Aasif Nai and Rizwan Ahmed overpowered him and they subjected him to sexual assault one by one.“The victim told police that he was set free after being gang-raped by seven persons,” the police officer added.Police later raided separate locations and arrested two suspects identified as Rizwan Ahmed and Ashiq Basera, charging them with gang-rape, Jam said.A second police official Nasim Ahmed who is also investigation officer confirmed the incident and told South Punjab News that A case No.366/16 was registered against seven persons under sodomy law.“These men were fond of transgenders and used to regularly attend their dance shows,” the official said,
