MULTAN, Nov 21st:Chief of Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force Air Marshal Sohail Aman met a delegation of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry(MCCI)headed by Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi,its president. They exchanged views on the matter of mutual interest.Air Marshal Sohail Aman said ,"I am glad that our ancestral spirit of patriotism and undying passion for sacrifice is still alive and runs in our blood. Our sacrifices and successes in Operation Zarb-e-Azb are a testimony to this fact. Pakistan Air Force, in synergy with sister services, has played a vital role in eliminating the menace of terrorism and restoration of peace in the country. I hope that on the strength of our national cohesion, we can surmount every challenge; be it wars or natural calamities. I assure you that Pakistan Air Force is fully capable to defend the aerial frontiers of our sacred motherland."Khawaja Jalauddin Roomi suggested that institutions of Airforce skill Development should be established in remoted and less developed areas like Southern Punjab and Private sector and aviation should join hands to establish industry.He stressed the need for strong relations between the Air University Multan campus and Multan Chamber to do work for industrial education.The delegation was informed that a top faculty is an asset for any Academic institution. Among many other distinguished aspects Air University Multan Campus (AUMC) has top notch of researchers and young academicians. We host a combination of National and Foreign Qualified Faculty Members from Leading Universities, AUMC has a large pool of Faculty Members specializing in their core ares. Later,Khawaja Muhammad Yousaf ex-President of MCCI presented the insignia of Chamber.The delegation was comprised on Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi,Khawaja Muhammad Yousaf, Fareed Mughis Sheikh,Former Speakers National Assembly Syed Fakhar Imam, APBUMA'sforer Chairman Syed Muhammad Aasim Shah.
