The business community of Southern Punjab have reposed its full confidence in the leadership of Mian Nawaz Sharif and steps being taken for promotion of business opportunities in Pakistan describing them far-reaching and result oriented.
The businessmen appreciated the leadership role of the prime minister in taking the country out of challenges in difficult times.President of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi said,while commenting on yesterday's meeting of businessmen with Prime Minister in Governor's house Lahore.
The present government had successfully turned around Pakistan's economy and had initiated mega infrastructure development projects across the country. Roomi said that present government attaches top priority to the resolution of problems faced by the entrepreneurs and all possible steps will be taken to facilitate the business community and took a number of measures which helped stabilise the national economy. "Now the country's economic situation is much better than 2013," he said. Talking about the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects, Prime minister told them that the CPEC was a game changer and it will not only bring about an economic revolution in Pakistan but will also change the fate of the entire region.
"The CPEC will open new paths of progress." He said the national economy was getting stable and today's Pakistan was economically stronger and safer than that of 2013. He said the government had introduced fundamental reforms to attract more investment as a smooth business system would bring in more investment ultimately creating more employment opportunities.
