Two women and their three daughters burnt when two persons threw acid


MULTAN, June 5th: Two women and their three daughters burnt when two persons threw acid onthem for not developing illicit relations in Uch Sharif and Rahimyar khan. According to details ,the first incident was reported in Tranda Bashrat in Bahawalpur district  where A woman and her suckling daughter suffered serious burn wounds in an alleged acid attack in Sarkand Basharat village near Uch Sharif, about 170km South-west of Multan on Saturday.RPO Bahawalpur Ehsan Sadiq said ,"we have registered two cases in Zahir Pir (Rahimyarkhan) and Uch Sharif and arrested the culprits ." He said that they would be tried in anti Terrorism court.Police said three people intruded into the house of Razia bibi, 35, in the absence of her husband and threw acid on her and her suckling daughter Asiya. Both suffered burn wounds and were shifted to the Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH) where they were stated to be in a serious condition.The Uch Sharif police said a case against three alleged attackers Shafiq, and Fayyaz Ahmed and his brother Riaz had been registered.Similarly, Muhammad Akram trespassed into the home of a blindman  Muhammad Amin to take revenge of insult because Sakina bibi  had reprimanded when he tried to molest her. When her two daughter came for mother's help hey also sustained injuries. Amna (14) Aasia(12) and their mother were hospitalised
