A
Chinese delegation headed by Mr. Xu Haijian visited Federation of Chambers of
Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Regional Office Lahore on Thursday. In the
meeting various matter of mutual interest were discussed.
The Regional
Chairman FPCCI, Mian Rehman Aziz said China is one of leading trade partner of
Pakistan and has been playing significant role in the economic development of
the country. He highlighted various
investment and joint ventures opportunities and said joint ventures with
Chinese enterprises would facilitate vital transfer of technology as Pakistan
direly need to upgrade value-addition process. He added trade delegations not
only enhance trade and economic ties between the two countries but also a source
of getting essence of investment opportunities so most important and right
sector could be focused.
The delegation
was comprises of knowledgeable members from Electric Cabinet, Nut Bolts, Iron
Steel, PP Bags Freight forwarding and clearing sector.
Mr. Xu Haijian Leader
of the delegation said Pakistan is an ideal destination of foreign investment
and top priority of the Chinese investors. He appreciated role of FPCCI for
economic development of the Country and said economic globalization and
regional integration has provided enormous opportunities for further
cooperation between China and Pakistan. Both Countries are strongly associated
together and both countries mutual relations are based on solid foundations.
