Indian Actress Preity Zinta tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Gene Goodenough in a hush-hush ceremony in Los Angeles on Monday night (Tuesday morning in India).

While the actress gave no official confirmation about the wedding date, buzz started when the actor’s close friends Sussanne Khan and Surily Goel were spotted in LA and Sussanne also posted a picture with Surily on Instagram.

She captioned it as: “Calif Sunday with my @surilydpgoel Sunshine and a vintage car. While the LA wedding was an private affair for the actress, where only her closed ones attended this event, Preity Zinta has planned to have a great Indian Wedding in April, which will happen after the closure of IPL.

Preity Zinta’s next movie Bhaiyyaji Superhitt alongside Sunny Deol and Simran Kaur Mundi is slated to release this year.While the 41-year-old Kal Ho Na Ho star kept mum about her wedding, veteran actor and Preity’s friend Kabir Bedi confirmed the news by congratulating her on Twitter.“HUGE CONGRATS my friend @realpreityzinta on your marriage to Gene in Los Angeles, City of Angels. Blessings!” he posted.

Celebrity jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali, sister of Suzanne Khan, who is close friends with Preity and in LA for her wedding, also congratulated the actor.

“Congratulations sweets on your wedding @realpreityzinta. Lots of love and blessings all the way from India,” Farah said.

The news comes after Preity repeatedly quashed reports of her marriage.
