Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday toured the Parliament House in the federal capital

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday toured the Parliament House in the federal capital, where he met parliamentarians and did not hesitate to take ‘selfies’ with them.
A hi-tea programme was organised by PPP Senator Aitezaz Ahsan on occasion of the young politician’s visit to the parliament.
Bilawal was greeted by the parliamentarians of all parties. He made his way to Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani’s chamber, where a few light words were exchanged.
Before he could say anything, Bilawal jokingly asked Rabbani whether to address him as “Mr Chairman” or “Mr President”, referring to the post of Acting President which Rabbani was obliged to take up as Senate Chairman during President Mamnoon Hussain’s temporary absence from the country.

Bilawal seeks implementation on NAP

The PPP leader, later in his address to the House, demanded to constitute a parliamentary security committee to ensure implementation and monitoring of National Action Plan (NAP).
He said that the Parliament would have to exercise its supremacy to resolve public problems, and extend its full support to the government in order to root out terrorism.
“Democracy is the best solution of all issues,” Bilawal added.
He further said that there is a need to “learn lessons from the past” to counter terrorism.
Bilawal Bhutto also visited the new building of Central Secretariat and met the old caretaker of the secretariat “Chacha Matloob”.
