CAA celebrates 36th foundation Day,paid tributes to Martyrs in Multan

A ceremony regarding 36th anniversary of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and International civil Aviation Day was held to raise awareness of the importance of international civil aviation and the role that the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) plays in international air transport here Friday at Multan International Airport.
Airport Manager Syed Mubarak Shah, Sr.Joint Director /Deputy Airport Manager Iqtidar Haider, Sr.Joint Director (HR) Baqir Raza Bukhari,Joint Director (Finance)Ishtiaq Qureshi,Senior Assistant Director (Commercial/Estates/PRO)M.Qayyum Khalid, Senior Assistant Director (Cargo) Waqar Azeem Malik, Joint Director E&M Mujahid Sumra, Deputy  Director (Motor Transport) Syed Baqir Shah, Manager(Inside)Tariq Saqi,Deputy Director (Horticulture) Abdul Wahab Khan Joint Director(Logistic) Muhammad Aslam,Assistant Director (Airport Services) Mamoona Hafeez, Deputy Director Medical Services DFr.Mujahida Faiz,and Chief Operation Officer Imran Saeed were present on this occasion.
On this occasion Mubarak Shah cut a ribbon to celebrate the 36th anniversary of the Aviation.
Speaking on this occasion Syed Shaukat Shah APM said that the December 7, 1982 was the day when the authority was established adding that United Nation also declared the CAA day. He paid rich tributes to those who laid down their lives performing their duties and foiled the nefarious designs of terrorists . He said that CAA was alert to protect the life and property of the passengers as well as National and international airlines planes. He said that everyone should play role for the improvement of Civil Aviation Authority.
Earlier he inaugurated a full scale nursery at airport and all the officers planted saplings. Special prayers were offered for the stability, integrity,prosperity and security  of Pakistan and special prayer were offered for the martyrs. At the end Mubarak Shah congratulated the whole nation that CAA was improvingday by day and considered it among world best organizations.
