‘Drug queen’ madam Pinky- Targeted youth, sold Rs 5 crore narcotics daily in Karach

From aspiring model to alleged drug queenpin, cocaine ‘queenpin’ ran network from Lahore, Karachi for years

Despite remaining on the radar of law enforcement agencies for years, 31-year-old aspiring model-turned alleged drug kingpin Anmol Pinky is accused of operating a vast narcotics network from Lahore and Karachi, supplying cocaine to clients in upscale neighbourhoods across Pakistan, reports Dawn.

Investigators claim Pinky, along with her brothers and close associates, built a sophisticated network that relied heavily on WhatsApp, social media platforms and SIM cards registered under fake or borrowed identities to evade surveillance and continue operations even after her CNIC was blocked by authorities.

Police officials familiar with the investigation said she had already been booked in multiple criminal cases before her recent arrest by Karachi police and a civilian intelligence agency. Yet, authorities allege, she continued running the operation using benami accounts and unregistered communication channels.

Audio clips circulating widely on social media, purportedly featuring Pinky, show her openly mocking law enforcement agencies and claiming her drug network would survive even after her arrest or death. She targeted youth between the age group of 16-20 years.

According to investigators, Pinky lived with her mother and sister-in-law in Lahore’s Khayaban-i-Zafar Society and also maintained residences in Karachi’s Gulshan-i-Iqbal and Baloch Para area near Jahangir Road. Officials said she came from a modest background. Her father, Murad Bakhsh, belonged to the Kolachi Baloch community and worked as a taxi driver, while her mother hailed from Punjab.

Police said Pinky dropped out of school in eighth grade and moved to Lahore in hopes of pursuing a modelling and acting career. During that period, she reportedly met her first husband — a lawyer — through contacts in the entertainment industry.

Investigators allege it was her first husband and brothers who introduced her to narcotics trafficking. Initially, she allegedly transported cocaine between Lahore and Karachi before later building an independent network after separating from her husband. She subsequently married a retired police official.

Authorities claim she specialised in cocaine distribution and eventually created her own “brand” in the illegal drug trade. Investigators alleged she learned to chemically dilute cocaine to increase supply without compromising its perceived quality, significantly boosting profits.

Officials estimate the network generated millions of rupees daily and catered to influential individuals as well as students. Investigators also suspect that some of the proceeds were used to secure protection from corrupt law enforcement personnel.

According to neighbours and investigators, Pinky’s relationship with her father deteriorated sharply over the years. In 2022, he reportedly published notices in two Urdu newspapers formally severing ties with her, accusing her of repeatedly disobeying the family and remaining away from home for years.

Police said more than a dozen criminal cases have been registered against Pinky, including two by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF). In several cases, her brothers and another woman were also named as co-accused.

Sources familiar with the legal proceedings said one of her brothers had been booked in multiple narcotics cases across Karachi police stations. In some instances, co-accused were acquitted while Pinky was declared an absconder.

Apart from drug-related allegations, police recently booked her in a murder case after the body of an unidentified man described as a “drug addict” was found near a school in Karachi’s Baghdadi area on May 9, 2026. Investigators claimed narcotics recovered from the victim carried a label allegedly linked to Pinky’s network.

Police alleged the drugs supplied by the syndicate caused the man’s death.

Pinky is currently on a three-day police remand as investigators continue questioning her over the alleged narcotics network and related criminal cases.
