Sadiq Khan has made history by being elected London mayor for the third time and he became the first politician to receive this honor.
On this occasion he issued a message to the voters that he promise with all citizens of London that, he will become the mayor of all.
A general election should be announced by Rishi Sonak, as per the details of Sadiq Khan's speech. He stated that hope prevailed over hatred, that it was an honor for him to be re-elected, that he would try to uphold the citizens' trust, and that he would put an end to the housing crisis, inflation, and crime.
It should be remembered that Sadiq Khan defeated the candidate of the ruling Conservative Party, Susan Hall, by a huge margin. Sadiq Khan won forty-four percent of the votes, and Susan Hall came second with thirty-three percent.
Sadiq Khan will take the oath of office in his new office. Sadiq Khan, who opened his eyes in the house of a bus driver of Pakistani origin, became the first Muslim mayor of London in 2016.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif felicitated on Sunday Sadiq Khan on becoming the London mayor for the third consecutive term.
Expressing his thoughts, the premier said: "Becoming the London mayor for the third consecutive term is the clear proof of Sadiq Khan's intelligence and services he rendered for the people."
PM Shehbaz said: "I would like to felicitate Sadiq Khan on scoring the hat-trick in terms of electing as the London mayor again."
"A son of British Pakistani had not only made his parents proud but the entire Pakistani nation," the premier said.
PM Shehbaz maintained: "I would like to extend my best wishes to Sadiq Khan for his further success.
Separately, few days back, the premier said that those who harmed the country's economy will be held accountable.
Addressing the federal cabinet, the premier said: "We will have to take tough decisions for the sake of the country.
Taking a dig at the political opponents, the premier said: "I had no idea where the transparent government was running the country.
“We are implementing the agenda of the economic referendum. The situation is getting better with our joint efforts,” he added.
The premier was of the view that the country witnessed an increase in its exports.
"The track and trace system of the cigarette's manufacturing was nothing but fraud," said PM Shehbaz.
The decision has been taken to control power theft and strengthen the transmission system.
