Governor Punjab Engr; Baligh-ur-Rehman said that being a son of the soil, the solution to the educational, social, political, and public health problems of South Punjab is my first priority. If we succeed in improving the standard of living of the common man, it would be a great success that would destine to the achievement of our objective of serving humanity. Balighur Rahman said he was highly impressed with the services of Jalaluddin roomi foundation for uplifting the living standard of the common man, redressal of their grievances and ensurjng potable water in remote areas of southern Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh Governor said that he belongs to a well-reputed family which had contributed in Quality Education,Health, Civic amenities and clean water for last five decades in South Punjab. Likewise,Khawaja jalaluddin Roomi was engaged round the clock in serving the masses irrespective of their creed,colour,caste,and region.Governor said that the services of Jalaluddin Roomi Foundation are no doubt appreciable.
In the special meeting, Khawaja Muhammad Jalaluddin Roomi told the Punjab Governor Eng. Balighur Rehman, that at present our "Jalaluddin roomi foundation "is running 22 water plants in Multan alone. Thousands of people are getting benefits from these projects daily. Apart from this, we are purveying meal at Multan Railway Station to Qulis. Workers and other needy people.similarly, Food is provided to the patients and their attendants in the hospitals of Fatima Jinnah and Shahbaz Sharif daily. Hundreds of people are benefiting from these services Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi further told the Governor of Punjab that we are going to conduct research on Agriculture produce particularly cotton and wheat etc So that Pakistan could achieve the target of self-sufficiency in the future.He said that Agriculture sector alone can change the destiny of Pakistan.it can save foreign exchange of billions of dollars which are being spent on import of edible oil, pulses.cotton, wheat and other items.
On this, the Governor of Punjab, Eng. Baligh-ur- Rehman, said that he had issued instructions to vice-chancellors of the universities in Punjab province to improve the quality of research in various fields along with improving the quality of education, so that it could play its role in strengthening the country's economy.
