Pakistan and Denmark were enjoying good bilateral relation--Lis Roseholm


Danish Ambassador to Pakistan Lis Roseholm said that Pakistan and Denmark were enjoying good bilateral relations.She said that both the countries were working together to strengthen the ties further and supporting each other to address the mutual issues and challenges. Danish Ambassador further said that they were working with companies in Pakistan with an objective to providing solutions to diabetes, mental health and production of electricity through wind energy.. These views were expressed by Danish Ambassador Lis Rosenholm in an exclusive meeting with renowned industrialist and Ex- President Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan Chambers of Commerce and Industry and former Punjab caretaker Minister for Industries Khawaja Muhammad Jalaluddin Roomi during her visit to Multan . She said that the Danish government wants to invest in every sector in Pakistan due to hospitality, kindness, skill and fairness of the people. She further said that Pakistani products are qualitative, affordable,durable, and long lasting . Being a friend of Pakistan we are aware of the problems confronted by  the people of Pakistan. Therefore, we are considering various options to revive Pakistan's economy by ending its  economic crisis that has gripped the country. In this regard, the good news is that Pakistani products are very popular in European countries because of their quality.

In the meeting, Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi asked the Danish Ambassador Lis Rosenholm to extend the GSP Plus to Pakistan for the next five years. In order to further improve Pakistan's economy, the Danish Ambassador assured that she would convey Pakistan's demand to the relevant authorities in the European Union, as Pakistan and Denmark have long enjoyed excellent diplomatic relations. That is why we will raise our voice for Pakistan in every forum.

Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi said that both the countries were working together to strengthen the ties further and supporting each other to address the mutual issues and challenges. Denmark is very important to Pakistan. And the time has come for it to take steps to end the energy crisis and unemployment so that other business activities besides Pakistan's textile industry can flourish.

Appreciatiung and eulogising the services of Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi and his foundation to alleviate the miseries of common man Danish Ambassador Lis Rosen Holm said that South Punjab is currently a major hub for business activities and the center of philanthropists like Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi , who is busy with business as well as social, medical, educational services and mitigating the miseries of disadvantaged classes. He has become a role model for other.His services during pandemic COVID-19 were unforgetabble. He is also known for helping kidney patients in various hospitals of  South Punjab and Sindh. In addition, the daily provision of food to the needy people  in different parts of Multan has accelerated the process of social change. The manner in which he is engaged in the promotion of business activities in South Punjab is an example to follow. He said that we support the Government of Pakistan in the matter of GSP Plus.

Because we are interested in trade relations with Denmark and Pakistan. And Pakistan encourages exports of products. It also intends to invest heavily in Pakistan in the near future. Denmark-Pakistan relations have been friendly for decades. Which, insha'Allah, will gradually become stronger.

Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi added that the value-added products made in Pakistan are popular all over the world. He has always supported Pakistan and we look forward to bilateral relations with Denmark in the future.
