Multan: Another project of public welfare " Mehr Fatima" dastar Khwan has been initiated by the district administration and Jalaluddin Roomi Foundation in this regard.
Leading industrialist, philanthropist and formerPresident of Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan chamber of Commerce & Industry and sitting President of CPE Institute of Cardiology Multan Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi and Deputy Divisional Superintendent Railway Saima Bashir formally inaugurated Mehr Fatima Dastar Khwan on the Multan Cantt railway station's platform yesterday. Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi said that Mehr Fatima Dastar Khwan will benefit more than 200 passengers and porters serving at site. Meals would be purveyed free of cost within the periphery of the railway station daily. Jalaluddin Roomi said that after allocation of the space from the district administration Mehr Fatima Dastar Khwan is also being started soon at Saho Chowk (Masood Roomi Square) where more than 500 people will be able to eat free food every day. On this occasion, Deputy DS Railway Saima Bashir said that the railway administration will play its role with regard to Mehr Fatima Dastar Khwan and in the prevailing dearness and current inflation these Dastar Khwan will be a cause of relief for the havenots.
