Senior politician Dr Abdul Hai Baloch killed in traffic accident


Senior politician Dr Abdul Hai Baloch have died in a traffic accident near Multan on way to Quetta from Islamabad.His body was despatched to his native village Chhalgari in Bolan district.He was elected as the member of National Assembly of Pakistan in 1970. Baloch was the prominent and one of the founding leader of Balochistan National Movement  and later became the president of the National Party.[ He later formed his own political party known as National Democratic Party (NDP) in 2018.Baloch received the Jalib Peace Award 2016 given by the Arts Council of Pakistan

It should be noted that Dr. Abdul Hai Baloch was born on February 1, 1946 in Bolan. He did his MBBS from Dow Medical College and was a member of the National Assembly from 1970 to 1977. He was one of the founding leaders of Balochistan National Movement. He later became president of the National Party, and in 2018 formed his own party, the National Democratic Party.
