Rehmatul-lil-Aalameen Authority will help apprise the world about life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), says PM

Noted Industrialist,former Punjab Caretaker Minister for Industry,Ex-President of Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan Chamber of Commerce & Industry Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi highly appreciated Prime Minister Imran Khan for celebrating the "Ashra-e- Rehmatul lil Alameen (Peace be Upon Him)" and establishing the " Rehmat-lil-Alameen Authority" to make the country and the world aware of Islam and the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).The purpose of authority is to teach the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to the children and adults and to bring it in their lives.He said " we are moving towards the  Riyasat-e- Madinah"
Exchanging views with Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi and A.Razak Dawood advisor to PM on Commerce & Textile who called on him , Prime Minister Imran Khan said that with the steps being taken by our government for the promotion of investment and exports, investors were expressing confidence in the government’s business-friendly policies.The existing potential of organic cotton in Balochistan was also discussed in the meeting. The Prime Minister was also apprised of the progress on the new Textile Policy and its early implementation.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said  we are focusing on strengthening agriculture, particularly cotton sector.We are also reviewing reforms in cotton sector. He said the government was taking steps to introduce technology for the growth of the cotton crop in the country.
Prime Minister  said the government was introducing a quality control system to ensure the quality of cotton-seed. He said efforts were being made to develop a futuristic plan for cotton. Pakistan is improving the quality of seed compared to other countries and expressed hope that the improvement in cotton crop would reflect from the current seasons. Prime Minister was optimistic that Pakistan would soon achieve the target of cotton produce.
He said that New Export Facilitation Scheme has been approved by Federal Government and passed by Parliament under Finance Act 2021. This Scheme will be implemented soon and will run parallel with existing schemes like Manufacturing Bond, DTRE and Export Oriented Schemes for two year. The existing old schemes shall be phased out in next two years and will be fully replaced by Export Facilitation Scheme-2021.
Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi expected that Export Facilitation Scheme 2021 shall reduce cost of doing business and cost of tax compliance, improve ease of doing business, reduce liquidity problems of exporters by eliminating Sales Tax refunds and Duty Drawback for the users of Scheme and shall attract more users and shall ultimately promote exports. but it must be enforced for at least 10 years. Similarly,Power tariff for industry must be fixed to compete the business rivals in World market.
Jalaluddin Roomi demanded abolishing the General Sales Tax on cotton seed (Binola) and reducing  the GST from 17 to 10 Percent on cotton .Upon this,Premier assured that this issue would be discussed with Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin .
Prime Minister appreciated the services of Jalaluddin Roomi Foundation for providing clean drinking water to the people a vast area of South Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan and its contribution in "Qarz-e-Hasna"  Scheme," Langar-Khana". Premier said that Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi performed extra-ordinary services during pandemic "Covid-19" and he provided ration to the needy people and protective items for medics and Para-Medics.Mr.Roomi is also helping in education and health sector .PM 's advisor on Commerce & Textile  Razak Dawood also apprised of the progress on new Textile Policy and its early implementation.He hoped that new export policy would help in boosting up the exports and achieving the targets.
