MULTAN, Noted industrialist, President of D.G.Khan Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Former Punjab caretaker Minister for Industry and Ex-President of Multan Chamber, and Ex-Chairman of Multan Dryport Trust Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi announced to sponsor 25 orphans and said that Orphans and abandoned children are no more helpless or resourceless. We and other philanthropists like Al-Khidmat would provide them all facilities like education, health care and food.Addressing a "Al-Khidmat Orphan care project at Jamia-Al-Aloom, Jalaluddin Roomi said that Prior to the Islamic era, the orphan was an often overlooked or ignored member of society. When the light of Islam dawned, Almighty Allah ï·» elevated the status of this helpless individual. He said that everyone would have to play his role for the formation of a better civil society to look after each other. Roomi said that serving orphans and abandoned children was in fact a service to God.It is the best worship. Parentless children are assets of our society and these are leaders of the future and they would serve the country in better way.
Jalaluddin Roomi said that is why Al-Khidmat Foundation Orphan is providing quality education, food, shelter, and public health facilities to the children." We are determined that these shining stars of ours will change the destiny of the country and the nation tomorrow Let the child set the milestones of success and achievement. Narrating his story, Jalaluddin roomi said that he completed his education from a Government-run school.Now Government schools are providing all facilities to students and providing good education.He emphasised the mothers to care and coaching of their children to make them useful people of the future. He also announced to provide an opportunity of technical and professional education to any student registered with Al-Khidmat. He suggested that working journalists must be included in "Qarz-e-Hasna" scheme of Al-Khidmat Foundation and assured financial cooperation for this facility.Dr.Ashraf Ali Atique Provincial chief of Al-Khidmat Foundation threw light on the different projects of the foundation. Local patron of the foundation Dr.Safdar Hashmi said that we had dreamt eight years ago to sponsor the resolute ,spunk and courageous children to put them on right direction by providing them good education and other facilities.we have started this mission with 37 children which now turned into a caravan of 334 families and 557 children and another 200 children would be added in the sponsorship scheme.President Al-Khidmat Foundation Multan Muhammad Ahmed Chughtai also spoke.Speaking on the occasion, other speakers said that Al-Khidmat was the centre of organised persons dedicated to serve the needy and poor people of the country. They said that sponsoring helpless people and orphans was a guarantee of success in this world and the hereafter. Al-Khidmat was carrying out the work of serving the people in the light of Islamic teachings which was a source of pride for us.
At the end "Eidi" and ration was distributed among them by Jalaluddin Roomi and Faheem Asif head imports kinzo A.G.group.
