D.G.Khan will soon attract the investors- Jalaluddin Roomi


Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Khan Buzdar will lay the foundation stone of an Industrial estate and building of Dera Ghazi Khan Chamber of Commerce & Industry very soon while land was earmarked for Taunsa  Industrial Estate, said Commissioner Multan, Dr.Muhammad Irshad, while Presiding over a meeting to finalise the sites for Industrial estate and Office of D.G. khan Chamber. The meeting was attended by Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi,noted Industrialist and President of Dera Ghazi Khan Chamber and Member of the high powered agriculture committee, Senior Vice President Muhammad Latif Khan Pitafi, Vice President Zahid Nizam, Former Presidents Khawaja Muhammad Younas, Sardar Zulfikar Ali Khan Nasuha, Ex-Senior Vice President Tariq Ismail Qureshi, Secretary-General of the Chamber Muhammad Mujahid Malik. Regional Police Officer Muhammad Faisal Rana and Deputy Commissioner Ali Ijaz Tiwana. Commissioner said that Punjab Chief Minister had approved the scheme and allotment of land for Dera Chamber. This scheme would be executed as soon as the site was finalised.

Commissioner Dr.Irshad Ahmed told them that the Punjab Government was taking interest in the development of Fort Munro and Southern Punjab to bring it at par with developed sites of Pakistan.

Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi President of DGCCI offered to bring investors and entrepreneurs to Dera Ghazi Khan if Dera Ghazi Khan airport be made functional under  Public-Private Partnership.He said that this step brings far-reaching changes in this area because this facility would not also help in bringing investors to Dera Ghazi Khan but also facilitate the people serving abroad. They would reach home without any hinderance. Regional Police Officer Muhammad Faisal rana assured that Punjab Police would provide complete protection and security to investors. He told that Police have provided a peaceful atmosphere to DG Cement workers and management by launching an operation against criminals and forced them to leave this area. He said that more security measures were being taken to protect the lives and property of the visitors, investors, and entrepreneurs
