MULTAN, Oct 17th: The Executive Committee of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) met here under the chairmanship of Khawaja Salahuddin and it approved the appointment of Muhammad Shafiq as Secretary-General on the recommendations of Human resource Committee. President MCCI said that every possible effort would be made to come up to the expectations, the confidence of the business community. He vowed to play a vital role in the development, beautification and civic amenities besides doing social services. He said that NADRA and Passport counters were being established in Multan Chamber to facilitate the member of this pioneered chamber of South Punjab. He said that a water purification plant would also be installed at the corner of Multan Chamber for General Public. Subcommittees on different subjects would also be constituted and names of the interested member were invited for this purpose.The meeting was also addressed by Mian Tanvir A Sheikh, Khawaja Muhammad Yousaf, Malik Asrar Ahmed Awan, Ex-Presidents, Syed Iftikhar Ali Shah Senior Vice President of MCCI, Khawaja Muhammad Hussain, Sheikh Faisal Saeed,and Rabia Shehzad while the meeting was attended by Mian Rashid Iqbal Ex-SVP, Mirza Ali Ahmed, Naveed Iqbal, Sheikh Faheem Sattar, Nadeem Ahmed Sheikh Ex-VP, Zarrar Khan, Khawaja Muhammad Farooq, Sheikh Muhammad Amjad, Abdul Rehman Qureshi,Malik Shakil Arain and Bakhsh Elahi.
