"I am highly impressed with hospitality of Multanites," German Ambassador

MULTAN, Oct 28th: German Ambassador to Pakistan Bernhard Schlagheck has said that ancient city of Multan is no doubt a central place of Pakistan and head quarter of South Punjab. German investment in this area is very significant.He was addressing a dinner hosted by Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi, President of DCCI in his honour last night.He said ,:  I am highly impressed and enchanted with the hospitality, politeness,sincerity and good attitude of the people of this city.They love to guests,visitors and extend their cooperation.Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi's family is a unique which is serving the humanity open heartedly besides expanding its trade activities and providing jobs to thousands of people. He said ," I do hope that our relations with the business community of Multan would be strengthened in due course of time.we are ready to provide more relaxations and facilities to establish trade relations with them.He further said that German trade and retail giant METRO announced that it was open its first over the store in Multan, South Punjab. President of Dera Ghazi Khan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DGCCI) Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi said in his welcome address that A  metro store was established in Multan which the first one in South Punjab, a much economically-deprived belt of the province. where everything would be available on affordable prices. He hoped that it would create jobs for thousands of people.He said that we are moving towards facilitations like the establishment of civil sub secretariat, devolution of powers,etc. Now Multan would be among the developed cities of Pakistan. He said that few countries have contributed so much to science and technology as Germany. From physics and chemistry to cars and consumer products, Germany is a world leader in innovation, boasting leading universities and research institutes alongside major engineering, IT, and manufacturing industries.
