Ration distributed among flood hit people of Rangpur & Suburbs-


MULTAN, Oct 20th: A renowned NGO " HANDS" in collaboration with care international distributed relief goods and ration among the people in flood-hit areas of Muzaffargarh. 


According to the Press Release issued on Tuesday, they carried out a transparent survey to explore the real destitute .Then they found 1600 needy people who were badly hit due to the recent spate in river Chenab. 

A simple but impressive ceremony was arranged to distribute the ration and hi-genic kits .District Chairman of Zakar and Ushr Committee Muzaffargarh Mehr Abdul Hussain Traggar graced the occasion by participating and distributing the ration package among the needy people.


He eulogized the spirit and services of the NGO "Hands" and acknowledged its decade long efforts to alleviate the miseries of the people of this district.

He said that flood in river Chenab due to water-aggression of India had badly hit the standing crops in Rangpur and western bank of river Chenab.

He acknowledged that food items along with medication "HANDS" provided were in need of time to save people from water-borne disease. 

District head of "HANDS" Ms.Saadia Nawaz said ," we are working in Muzaffargarh district with devotion since 2010 and providing necessities to the people without any discrimination of creed of colour. A recent flood adversely affected the people of Rangpur and suburbs who were already passing through severe economic stress due to lockdown
