SBP's help desk established to facilitate MCCI member

MULTAN, June 30th: President of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI)Mian Fazal Elahi Sheikh said that Governor State Bank Baqar Zedi has establisahed a help desk in Multanm Chamber for the awareness of SME Rozgar scheme and to receive complaints relating to banking sector. He said that it is a very big achievement to facilitate the local traders,SMEs and member of the Chamber. MCCI President hailed the Government's decision to further cut in Policy rate by 100 basic point and Now interest rate would be merely 7 percent.He said that Present Government has met an outstanding demand of business community by bringing interest rate to single digit which had increased to 13.25%. Business Community of Southern Punjab has appreciated the SBP governor's step to set-up a help desk in Multan Chamber and said that efforts of President MCCI Mian Fazal Elahi proved fruitful.They expressed hope that help-desk would be helpful in resolving the bank related problems of SMEs and they could easily avail the opportunities of financial assistance.They said that economic activities would be accelerated with this landmark decision.
