Employees of Micro-finance bank held when their pre-arrest bail plea rejected

MULTAN, July 10th: Mr.Justice Anwar-ul-Haq Punnu, a judge of Lahore High Court Multan bench has rejected the bail plea of five employees of a Micro-Finance Bank Shujabad Branch who were involved in the fraud of Rs.60 million. Police arrested them soon after they came out of the court and then produced them before Judicial magistrate and granted five-day physical remand to recover the embezzled amount. The petition Suhail Ahmed Regional Manager of Micro-finance bank got registered a case against five employees Kamran Hanif, Muhammad Asif, Mubashar Hassan, Imran Mushtaq, and Tariq Mehmood on March 5th: According to the prosecution, they had issued forged receipts/paying slip to 25 account holders against their payment. In fact, they had developed parallel banking within a bank. During interrogation, they proved guilty of embezzlement of Rs.60 million then they move to session court Shujabad but their bail plea was rejected .Then they escaped from Shujabad court and move to High Court Multan
