MULTAN, June 25th: A nationalist Pakistan Saraiki Party on Thursday organised a protest rally at district courts square under the leadership of Malik Allah Nawaz Vance, Central President, Haji Ahmed Nawaz Somroo,and Malik Javed Channer Advocate to press the authorities for fulfilling its commitment to create a Saraiki province in Punjab to safeguard their rights and interests. Addressing the participants Saraiki activists Malik Muhammad Naeem Iqbal Advocate, Madam Robina Bukhari, Farhat Hussain Shah, Sharafat Abbas Khan Langah, Muhammad Shahid Ikram, Shafiq Hussain Advocate, Rabnawaz Gashkori, Muhammad Ashraf Langah, Shaukat Bilal Khan Bangash, Waseem Khan, Sardar Sultan Mehmood Khan Kulchai, Malik Yaquob Vance, Muhammad Imran Langah, Zahid Ali Channer, Malik Safdar Hussain Khokhar have alleged that rulers had ever hoodwinked the Saraiki People in the name of the province but they did nothing for its creation. They further alleged that two districts of Dera Ismail Khan and Tank were grabbed by KPK and others grabbed by upper Punjab. Now we want freedom from the lords of Lahore & Peshawar. They reiterated their demand for the constitution of Saraiki province consisting of 23 districts of Punjab to protect the rights of more than 50 million people.
