MULTAN, May 19th: Renowned industrialist and Philanthropist Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi has announced to bear all expenses of boarding lodging and education of 25 orphans registered with the Al-Khidmat and he also announced to provide 600 suits to the children. Delivering his speech at "Eid Gift distribution ceremony of Al-Khidmat here today he said that we would send orphan children to even private educational institutions and would bear all expenditures of their study.He said," I feel proud to attend this ceremony of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan as a remedy for all those who suffer from calamity, mishap or misfortune. It has always been among the first responders to reach for the rescue of humankind. Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi said ," we serve for the humanity without any discrimination and strive hard to fulfill our obligation towards the social cause. Helping orphan children so they may become independent, bringing employment and entrepreneurial opportunities to help households to earn their livelihood with dignity and honor.Jalaluddin Roomi appreciated the efforts of Al-khidmat Foundation Pakistan to provide necessary assistance to the needy and underprivileged families during the lockdowns caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.Roomi said that situation of Orphans in Pakistan is not so different in comparison to other developing countries on the globe. Condition in Pakistan is equally alarming as to its neighbors but being an Islamic country our society is more aware of the rights of orphans.Jalaluddin Roomi advised that Orphans should not be treated like poor, deprived, destitute and disadvantaged where they lose their dignity and self-confidence.President of Al-Khidmat Foundation Muhammad Ahmed Chughtai, Dr.Safdar Hashmi,Wali Muhammad Mujahid also threw light on the activities of Al Khidmat Foundation and said that We remained steadfast in the service to humanity for providing relief to the needy.
