Railway Payam Union on Monday organised a protest rally at Multan cantt railway station to express their anger against price hike of essential commodities, joblessness, delay in confirmation of temporary Labour, gas and electricity tariff. The rally was led by Rana Muhammad Sharif, Zafar Khan Lodhi, Abid Hussain Shehzad, Gulfam, Noor Asif Awan, Owais Hameed, Sheikh Naeeem, ahd Rafiq, Ashfaq Hussain .Rana Abdul Khaliq, Waseem Khan,and Haji Maqsood Ahmed. Addressing the protestors, the Payam Union leaders strongly condemned the PTI government for flour and sugar crisis and price hike of essential commodities and increase in tariffs of gas and electricity. Workers urged federal and provincial governments to control abnormal price hike of essential commodities of daily use. The union urged that Prime Minister to establish Madina Society whereas the cost of essential commodities of daily use had been rising every day.
