MCCI is serving the ailing humanity -Mian Rashid Iqbal

MULTAN, Feb 11: A two member delegation of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital called on Senior Vice President of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) Mian Rashid Iqbal and apprised him of their services. Syed Wasee-ul-Hassan Gilani Fund raising Executive told that many young innocent lives are being saved at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre. Last year, donors Zakat made it possible to treat almost 75% of our patients for free. This year we need 8.5 billion rupees to help those who cannot afford to pay for their own treatment. While the revenue from the Hospital’s diagnostic services has always, and continues to be, utilised for our expansion projects, it is your Zakat that is the hope of life for our poor cancer patients.He said that Shaukat Khanum memorial Hospital was organising an awareness programme in Multan and a 25-years performance report would be presented before the masses. Mian Rashid Iqbal said that Multan chamber was already engaged in welfare activities to serve the humanity.Deputy Manager Hamid Khan and acting Secretary General of MCCI Muhammad Shafiq were also present there.
