MULTAN, May 12th: Love marriage claimed lives of four member of a family who were shot dead by the attackers in Kherpur Tamewali on Sunday morning for marrying a girl of opponent tribe after developing friendship with her.DPO Bahawalpur Amir Taimoor told that Muhammad Arshad , an employee of irrigation department has developed friendship on social media with Aisha bibi and they solemnised the matrimony before the court against the wishes of parents.To take revenge of this love marriage, Shehroz elder brother of Ashia, Mother Shagufta bibi and a cousin reached at Aisha 's home to see her. On Sunday early in the morning ,they tried to take her back but inmates foiled their attempt then Shehzore and his accomplice opened fires resultantly three persons died on the spot while Sonia bibi a mother of seven children died in Bahawal Victoria hospital. Resultantly four persons Faiz Bakhsh father of Arshad, Muhammad Mazhar (Brother) Sonia bibi(Brother's wife) and Shahid Nadeem (Maternal uncle)died and a minor boy Zain and Zahoor bibi injured seriously. However,the bride and bridegroom remained safe.Police said that the attackers belong to Sambarial (Sialkot district). Police have registered a case however no arrest was made.
