FIA arrests a commander of banned TTP in Peshawar, A Cleric returned home

A commander of banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan was arrested by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Peshawar last night while trying to flee to Dubai while his name was in exit control list.
Official Sources told South Punjab News that  TTP commander Maulvi Bahadar Jan was arrested before boarding a flight for Dubai from Bacha Khan International Airport.,Peshawar
FIA personnel arrested him during checking of his documents as his name was included in Exit Control List.
Maulvi Bahadar Jan was wanted by the law enforcing agencies for his involvement in a number of terrorist acts.He was sent to unidentified location for interrogation
A senior cleric in Balochistan has returned home on Friday – nine months after he, along with a son and driver, was kidnapped from the provincial capital.Maulana Abu Turab, the provincial ameer of Jamat Ahle Hadees, was kidnapped by gunmen from Airport Road on September 8, 2017 while he was travelling to his seminary.Later, the kidnappers had released his son and driver but took away Maulana Abu Turab.The Jamat Ahle Hadees had staged countrywide protests against the kidnapping while the law-enforcement agencies followed different clues but could not trace him.
On Friday, the kidnappers released Maulana Abu Turab but his family refused to share any details with the media.It was not immediately known if the family has paid any ransom for his release..
