A horrible accident has left a young trader dead after a truck of a beverage company of International brand rammed into a shop on District Jail road when a fasting trader was opening his shop just before "Iftar". The truck reportedly failed brake as the driver lost control and rammed into a shop in front of 7-up/ Pepsi factory. The trader who was identified as Hassan Zubair Sherwani a close relative of PML-N leader Risalat Sherwani, Police have registered a case against the unknown driver. A the news spread in the area,hundreds of traders of MDA chowk gathered there was they burnt tyres on the road to block the traffic. Some unruly youths burnt the company's truck .However, Police saved another truck from arsoning. Traders also staged a demonstration againsat the beverage company whicjh had reportedly hired untrained and unlicenced drivers.
