CM Punjab inaugurates Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital’s extension phase

MULTAN, May 26th: The extension work of Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital has been completed at a cost of four point eight billion rupees at Muzaffargarh. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif today inaugurated the project .
The hospital consists of two hundred and fifty beds equipped with state-of-the-art medical facilities including two OPDs, Radiology and other facilities for the patients of remote areas of South Punjab.
Chief Minister said that the Punjab government is committed to providing excellent healthcare facilities to the masses.While addressing the ceremony, Punjab Chief Minister said that the establishment of trauma centre in Muzaffargarh is the need of the hour.
He announce the provision of CT Scan facility free of cost and said its charges would be paid by Punjab government for the provision of quality medical facilities to the poor people of the area.
He paid rich tribute to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for providing his financial assistance for the establishment of this modern hospital after the devastating floods which had created havoc in the area some years ago.
He said more than ninety billion rupees have been spent on the construction of new roads under Punjab Chief Minister Rural Road Programme during the last five years.
He said when we came in the power the country was in the grip of energy crises , but now we have overcome this problem by producing about eleven thousand megawatts electricity for national grid.
