Women entrepreneurs' destination is "Good repute" in business- Mughia'A Sheikh

MULTAN: An Industrial icon and convener of Women Entrepreneur sub committee of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry(MCCI) Mian Mughis'A Sheikh has said that attaining  stalls in international exhibitions, trade festivals and expos  should not be women entrepreneurs objective,instead,they should concentrate on attaining maximum orders from foreign buyers. They should play a role of  ambassadors of their country. Addressing a meeting of sub committee in MCCI, Mian Mughis said that women entrepreneurs must raise the quality and standard of their products to attract the buyers and compete the other sellers. He said that women should avail the services of Multan Chamber as well as TDAP or any other department to achieve their objectives. He further said that entrepreneurship was once considered a man's domain, but the tide has shifted: More than 9 million U.S. firms are now owned by women, employing nearly 8 million people and generating $1.5 trillion in sales.“While the numbers are growing, there are still too few female investors and startup entrepreneurs, which can make it more challenging to raise capital and find mentors," said Mugghis a Sheikh. Syeda Sarwat Zahra said “As a female entrepreneur in a male-dominated industry, earning respect has been a struggle," but  "I am more than willing to put in the work to create my own reputation for being a hardworking, honorable businessperson in my own right," she said.  "To overcome this, I have had to learn to build my confidence and overcome my negative self-talk.’"Tahira Najam advised women to recognize the value of their creative ideas. Khurram Javed Secretary General of MCCI said "Odd circumstance stopping you from reaching your full potential. One of the best things  which can help you  in this area is joining a variety of optimistic groups," he said. "These groups have provide you mentors and peers to inspire you , hit  with reality checks on your capabilities and successes and help be grow and learn from their outside perspectives and experiences.”Sana Niaz Burana narrated her experiences  and  said that women entrepreneurs must build their confidence  and they should not lend ear to the negative voices,Salim Qaiser, Sanaullah also threw light on the businesses of women entrepreneurs.The Meeting was attended by  Sumera Azam, Khadija  Khalil, Sarwar Shah, Shazia Batool, Perveen Niaz, Bilqees  Zahid, Shabana Hameed, Nazia Fareed, Saima Hashim, An'am Manzoor, Sana Sadiq,  Nadia Baqar, Sadaf Irshad,  Maria, Fatima Kanwal,Tayyaba Tabassam, Arooj Shaukat, Najma Perveen, Bashiran Bibi,Munazza Qureshi, Sidra and Shah Jehan.
