Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is anxious to shift himself to Multan from Karachi to supervise the Punjab politics and gain something in the forthcoming general elections.He will stay in Bilawal house recently completed in Multan.During the three day stay at Multan and after meeting the old and founder PPP activists ,his mind was changed, Malik Altaf Ali Khokhar and other senior workers told him that his grand father Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had started his election drive from Multan.Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was highly impressed with his age fellow sons of Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani.. During the address to workers he has slammed PML-N and PTI for carrying ideologically same policies that abhor the masses and favour the elites as compared to PPP, which has always served the people and devised new avenues for peoples' betterment and upliftment. Bilawal spent a very busy day in Multan. He presided over a meeting of Central Executive Committee (CEC) and took some very important decisions. These two parties are right-winged parties and despite apparent rifts, their policies are same as anti-people and that these two parties only focus on country's premiership and that is their biggest focus for being in politics.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that PPP had in 2009 launched the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), which facilitates the impoverished particularly the women. PPP's Sindh government has also launched a Union-Council based Poverty Reduction Programme and this unique programme has so far pulled out 600, 000 families from stark poverty. This programme also lends mostly to women on interest-free basis so that they could plan for their better future and live a stable and self-reliant life.
PPP Chairman also spoke on province for the people of Southern Punjab and assured that he would keep visiting them frequently so that he could meet the workers and Jiyalas and convey the message of the Party to the masses.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari criticized PMLN, which has the incumbent government in the centre and said that its government has ruined country's national institutions. It has ruined Pakistan Steel and PIA, which once used to be world's No.1 airliner.
He said that under PPP, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto carried land reforms and snatched big lands from the feuds and distributed them among the poor peasants. The PPP is the party of peasants, workers, students and the masses, he added.
PPP Chairman urged the Party workers to participate in JoinPPP campaign and attract maximum membership from the Party supporters and masses.
Former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Nayar Hussain Bukhari, Makhdoom Shahabuddin, Natasha Daultana, Haider Zaman Qureshi, Khwaja Rizwan, Shaukat Basra, Abdul Qadir Shaheen and others were present on the occasion..Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto said on Sunday that the ruling Pakistan Muslim-League-Nawaz and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have anti-people policies.Bilawal Bhutto was addressing workers in Multan, where he said that both the PTI and PML-N have the same style of politics.The PPP chairman said that the PML-N government has destroyed the sector of agriculture and textile.Bilawal Bhutto said that southern Punjab has always sided with the PPP. Bilawal said that after coming into power his party would create a new province in southern Punjab.
The PPP chairman said that whenever it came to making southern Punjab into a new province, the PML-N always opposed it.
Bilawal said that in future his political centre would be based in Multan and he would work for the betterment of the public.
