Four terrorists in Multan, 32 in Kohat were held with arms, explosives

Police arrested 32 outlaws including two facilitators, recovered arms and drugs during search operations in different areas of Kohat on Saturday.while another four terrorists were held in Multan and granted their physical remand


In line with the directives of DPO Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat to curb the crimes, the police teams continued search and strike operations in different areas of the disctrict.
During targeted operations headed by DSP Lachi Roukhan Zeb and SHO Muhammad Afzal Awan, in Shakardara and surrounding areas, the police arrested 32 outlaws including two involved in facilitating the proclaimed offenders.
The operation which continued for about five hours was participated by heavy contingent of police, women police, bomb disposal squad, armour carriers and sniffer dogs.
The police recovered two Kalashnikovs, six pistols, a repeater, hundreds of rounds of different bores and three kilogram hashish from possession of the detainees who were being interrogated after registering a case against them at concerned police stations.

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) foiled a major terror bid on Pakistan Day and arrested four terrorists with arms and explosives here on Friday.

The CTD sources said that on an intelligence tip-off, a team of the CTD conducted operation in suburbs of Multan.
During the operation, four terrorists were arrested with explosives and weapons.
The nabbed terrorists wanted to target sensitive installations but in time action foiled the bid.
The CTD confiscated the recovered explosives, weapons and the detainees were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
