Four Cricket players were killed in an explosion in Afghanistan

At least four local cricket players were killed in an explosion on Friday evening in Bati Kot district of Nangarhar province, a local official said, reported Tolo News.
The provincial governor’s spokesman Attaullah Khogyani confirmed the incident and said the explosion happened in Chardehi area of the district while a cricket match was underway between district teams. 
Khogyani said four cricket players were killed and two civilians were wounded.
Bati Kot district of Nangarhar is an insecure area in the province.
No further details have been given regarding Friday’s incident and no group has claimed responsibility for the incident yet.
This is not the first time a cricket match has been targeted.
In January 2014, five cricketers were killed in Laghman province when gunmen on a motorcycle drove by and opened fire on them.
