Addressing a news conference here at Multan Press Club on Monday, she claimed that the corrupt rulers infected entire system of the country but Imran Khan would cure it with the support of masses.He requires overwhelm majority in the General election to reform the electoral, economic systems.
She declared that the PTI workers will fully participate in the sit-in to get the martyrs of Model Town tragedy justice, adding that Imran Khan will soon announce National Movement Policy.
She said that Rana Sana Ullah rubbed salt to the wounds of the affectees of Model Town tragedy daily which is highly condemnable.
She said that Zainab was the daughter of the nation but she was subjected to inhuman attack. “It is Shehbaz Sharif’s Raja Dahir-like government that has failed to arrest her killers,” she maintained.
She said that a big incident took place in Kasur in 2015 but the accused escaped punishment due to patronage by the rulers.
“The terrorism charges were removed due to the intervention of the rulers which helped the culprits escape scot free,” she maintained. She said that Zainab tragedy-like incidents would take place if the rulers continued to play with the law. She pointed out that entire security apparatus is engaged in rulers’ security which offered the outlaws free hand to hit the citizen. She said that the typical police mindset would not change by merely swapping the uniforms rather the mindset needed to be changed. She said that despite Chief justice’s notice, Punjab government’s failure in arresting the accused involved in Zainab’s murder unveiled the reality of performance of Punjab’s rulers.
She strongly criticised Mian Nawaz Sharif and said that what the nation would expect from other accused when Nawaz Sharif was criticising the verdicts of the courts. She maintained that on one hand the state was a complainant against Nawaz Sharif while on the other hand the ministers of the same state were depositing security bonds for him.
She warned that the rulers jeopardised the security of Pakistan and all patriot powers needed to play their role for the security of the country. She declared that the world would see a changed new Pakistan in 2018.
She said that a few ruling families of South Punjab were responsible for the backwardness of this region.
“They have held the masses hostage while doing nothing for the uplift of this region,” she added. She said that the development of Saraiki region stood at the top of the priority list of the PTI and it would offer education, healthcare and other facilities to the residents of this area on par with Lahore.
She said that Saraiki region was the backbone and bread basket of Punjab but it was unfortunate that the farmers of this region were faced with sheer poverty. She said that the sugarcane growers were being fleeced by the mill owners and the PTI would raise voice for the rights of the growers at all platforms.
