At least thirteen people of family have so far been died after taking poisonous "lassi" in village Lashari (Alipur) in Muzaffargarh district on Friday. Today, Momina and Shehzad have succumbed to poisonous effects .A woman Hafeeza Mai, his three sons Amjad, Nazeer and Shehbaz along with their close relative died on Thursday after the consumption of poisonous lassi and butter. Meanwhile, 13 more people are in unstable condition.Locals shifted the affectees to Nishtar hospital Multan and District Headquarter (DHQ) hospital Dera Ghazi Khan under self-help due to lack of rescue services.Police say that postpartum of the dead bodies will be conducted and interrogation will be held. Deputy Commissioner Muzaffargarh Saif Anwar Jappa said that a team has been sent at the scene for interrogation.
