MULTAN, Sept 4th: Scores of activists of civil society on Monday staged a demonstration at Chowk Nawan Shehr to express their anger against the burning of 2600 homes, beheading of children and displacement of 76,000 member of Muslim minorities from Myanmar.They burnt national flag of Myanmar and shouted slogans against United National, Organisation of Islamic Countries for their mysterious silence on the genocide of Muslim minority.The Demo was led by Sohail Fraz President of Qaumi Amn Committee .He said that so-called Myanmar's human rights activist Aung San Suu Kyi was playing in the hands of Buddhists and ruthlessly killing the empty handed Muslim Minorities .He also condemned the armed forces' commander-in-chief, Ming Aung Hlaing who was killing empty handed Rohingyas .He said that the treatment of the Muslim Rohingya is "besmirching" the country's reputation.
Participants hailed the statement os US Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson who has warned Myanmar's Aung San Suu Kyi that the treatment of the Muslim Rohingya is "besmirching" the country's reputation.Mr Johnson called on Ms Suu Kyi, the country's de facto leader, to "use her remarkable qualities" to end prejudice against Muslims in Rakhine state.
